Hello, my name is Casey. I think I'm very cute, but some people are overwhelmed by my enthusiasm.
I was discovered in the middle of the road in Southwest Denver by Jon and Amanda. They already had a big dog and a couple cats in a small apartment, so I was taken in by Jennifer and Scot in August of 1999. There was a small adjustment period because I cried all night, but once I got used to my routine, I quieted down. The cats were not very happy to have me in the house because I had a tendency to chase them. I am making a lot of improvement there, and they are starting to come out from their bedroom hideaway more often. Come to think of it, Malcolm was not too thrilled to discover that I was there to stay. I I attended a dog obedience class and am continuing to learn from there. My most recent endeavor is agility. I was kind of scared of the table at first, but after the first class I got over that. I still have some problems paying attention with all the other dogs there, but I am doing fine with the obstacles. I can't wait to win trophies and ribbons!
Some other things I enjoy are playing frisbee, going to the off leash park, chewing on pig hooves (yum!), and playing with my tug rope.
